Over a decade has passed since the first Tech23, and the calibre and goodwill of the community surrounding the event continues to grow. It’s an honour for us to offer this platform as a national runway for emerging deep tech gems from across Australia.
Through Tech23, Graham Bell, co-founder of Startmate’s NextAero, was able to meet M8 Ventures’ entrepreneur veteran Alan Jones through a prize offered at the event. “We’ve made some pretty dramatic progress since Tech23,” Graham told us. “Your event massively increased our profile and we have been approached by a lot of investors, labs and interested professionals.”
High Earth Orbit (HEO) Robotics, who just announced their first contract with the Royal Australian Air Force for a space capability demonstration, now maintain a friendly relationship with the Westpac Reinventure team since winning a prize to have a lunch meeting with their executives.
We can’t wait to see who will jump into the magic mix for Tech23 2019!
