We hope that you are managing to navigate this topsy-turvy world.
TeamSlatts is working as hard as we can to be on the front foot and adapt as best we can to the changes happening around us.
Our focus at present in regards to our events is to minimise risk, protect each other and ensure every experience is as good as it should be!
Due to our environment currently being unconducive to large gatherings, we have had to postpone a number of upcoming events including IMPACT7 2020, Growth Capital Forum and Better Worlds 2020. We are also reviewing our options for AgileAus20.
We are so grateful for the kindness of the sponsors, suppliers, speakers, leaders, supporters and attendees in our midst, who have taken the sting out of the tough calls we have had to make with their grace and understanding.
From an attendee standpoint, we know that some of you don’t feel comfortable commiting to future events just yet. We hope however, that you see the light at the end of the tunnel like we do – and that we’ll see you commit again with renewed enthusiasm once the dust settles!
Our thoughts are especially with fellow small businesses as we head into this uncharted territory together. We encourage everyone to continue to move forward with kindness and look after each other the best that we can.
We are so grateful for those who are continuing to buy tickets to our events and are coming on board as sponsors and supporters. If you are interested in getting involved with us in any way please give us a bell on +61 3 9663 3093 or write to us here: www.slattsgroup.com.au/contact/. We’d love to have a chat.
In the meantime, we will continue to do what we do best – finding creative ways to bring value to the communities we serve and amplifying the benefits that innovation can have on our world!

Aussie deeptech companies celebrated at Tech23 2019!
We’re still buzzing from Australia’s national celebration of deeptech innovation that was held in Sydney last week on Wednesday 23 October!
Companies from across the nation shared how they are tackling big challenges with quantum computing, next generation robots, clever climate change solutions, inspiring healthtech and so much more.
Our future needs deeptech!
After eleven years of Tech23, people often ask what have we learnt over the years. The answer is lots! For example…
Australia’s future is deep!
Over ten years ago – when the GFC was looming and the Federal Government’s support for innovation was ‘under review’ –Tech23 was born. At the time, Cicada was the main game in town, Sydney Angels was just forming, and the University of Sydney’s Incubate and the University of Melbourne’s MAP were still a few years away from being established.
